Thankful - Day #6

We are beyond thankful for the opportunity to participate in a democracy. The polls just opened in California and we're on our way to make a difference!

Interesting note: This is the first time that Melissa is voting in San Diego City elections... having been a dweller of the 'burbs for most of her life. It's fun to have a say in the mayoral race.

Thankful - Day #5

Me: So what else are you thankful for, Honey?
Chris: Computers.
Me: Really?!?
Chris: Computers... because they give me a job to do and get paid for.
Me: Yeah, computers are pretty sweet.

... and this, my friends, is how we come to Thankful Day #5: Technology

A day at the office...

I am thankful for the ability to do work and school virtually, allowing me to cuddle with puppies and wear yoga pants pretty regularly.

My other office...
Rico's office.
We leave you with a sweeeeet love song for Lafawnduh and TECHNOLOGY...

You're welcome!

Thankful - Day #4

Today we are thankful for the pooches who give us laughter, snuggles, and (as Chris likes to mention every hour or so) something to blame our farts on.
This is basically us...
Brothers who love each other
Paco the cute snoozer
Rico the cuddly snoozer
Whatcha lookin' at?
The whole family

Rico and Paco, you are the best dogs anybody could ever ask for. We love you!

Thankful - Day #3

Today we are thankful for our grandparents.

We are thankful for grandparents who ride trains halfway across the country to be at our wedding.

We are thankful for grandparents who always find a way to dance even when age has stolen their smile.

We are thankful for grandparents who shaped our worldviews so completely and chose love always, before all else.

Melissa's paternal grandmother was quite the looker!

We are thankful for grandparents who showed up for all of the special occasions.

We are thankful for grandparents who taught us how to gut a fish and how be a snappy dresser.

We are thankful for sisters who light up our days and lighten our load. Thank you ladies for helping to shape us into the people that we are today. You've helped to make Melissa strong and sweet. You've helped to make Chris brave and thoughtful. We love you and miss the ones that we can't see near as often as we would like. Thank you for being in our lives!

Thankful - Day #1

We are thankful for the kiddos in our life that make us laugh and make us proud. We have awesome nieces and nephews that range in age from 3 years old to a SENIOR in high school! We are blessed beyond measure. We couldn't be more thrilled to know and love each and every one of them.

A'paco'lypse

We would like to introduce everyone to our youngest.
Here is A'paco'lypse to be known as Paco for short.

Soooo obviously after seeing the pictures above we NEEDED this puppy...

After our first snuggle Mommy was in love...

We clearly didn't have to talk Daddy into anything. Look at this proud Pappa!

Brothers... This is them together on day one!

Our first family picture. Rico wasn't sure about slimy puppy kisses at first...

Now everyone is settled in and happy. :-) Sunday = snuggle and watch football day.
